Gursharan (Sharon) Kaur received her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Law, Societies, and Justice from the University of Washington in 2016. Sharon obtained her J.D. with a concentration in Tax Law from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco) in 2021. She was a recipient of the Moot Court Best Brief Award and Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) Award for Excellence in Research and Writing (1st Place). She was also presented with CALI and Witkin Awards for excellence in Critical Studies 1: Writing. Sharon was a member of the Hastings Law Journal and served on the board of multiple organizations. Upon graduating from law school, Sharon worked as an associate at a tax firm prior to transitioning over to a global law firm. She is a member of the State Bar of California (admitted in 2021) and currently lives in San Francisco.
